  19.    We shouldn't assume that the descrepency in the #of Manuals to 
  20. #of software liscences is due only to piracy.  Remember 3DS is probably the 
  21. most popular tool in schools and some students purchase manuals 
  22. for their classes.  Also, sometimes when we buy several liscences at once of 3DS 
  23. for the school some of them come without manuals.  So now we 
  24. have 6 liscences in the Art lab and 2 sets of manuals.

  26.    On another note, MAX's new plugin architecture allows plugins to 
  27. register into another's dongle protection (like the MAX dongle 
  28. itself or any other that's already being used with MAX).
  29. This will probable help plugin sales a bit.
